Howdy! We are Steve and Greta, proprietors of a new-ish venture we call Rusty Acres Homestead. We are so glad you decided to stop by our Studio to see what creative adventures we have been undertaking.
Currently we are clearing land to build. This property in the heart of Texas will be our homebase for our home, business, and RV travel adventures.
This is what the property looked like when we started.
And this is a glimpse of what it looked like recently. The barn is up and overflowing with projects. Soon we will have enough trees cleared to mark out where the dogtrot style house will go.
It’s December and autumn color is everywhere in central Texas!
If you have seen our Rusty Acres Homestead logo you might recognize that wreath in the middle of the gate. We made it from salvaged materials including rusty barbed wire and rusty metal barn siding. We will be offering the RAH Wreaths on our website soon. We promise every wreath will be unique!
Once we get this website fully functional, we will be adding inventory for sale including antique and vintage quilts and textiles, quilt and cross stitch patterns, ‘His Stuff’ from our love of antique and vintage automobiles, and even more custom items from salvaged materials.
And, one of these days, we will be offering visits to the homebase and mobile studios on Instagram and YouTube! Be sure to search for @RustyAcresHomestead to subscribe. If the good Lord is willin’ and the creek don’t rise too high, we will have our first video up sometime in 2024.
